This is the first bike trainer that I've owned, so I don't have much to compare it to, but I really like it. It was a great value for the price, and simple to put together and use. It's a little louder than I expected (thus the 4 out of 5 stars) when using it with my mountain bike, but it works well. If you purchase this product, or any other bike trainer for that matter, you probably want something to hold the front tire in place and raise it up a bit. Otherwise it feels like you are slightly sloped downhill. Overall, I'm happy with it.
